About BSV
Black sheep, on purpose.
The name
Every flock has one that wanders off and finds the better view. That’s the whole idea behind Black Sheep Visionary Media.
We’re a San Diego production company that handles the full process: concept, pre-production, shooting, editing, color and sound. Whether it’s a wedding on the cliffs, a launch party downtown or a documentary that takes months, we bring the same crew mentality and the same obsession with getting it right.
We don’t do cookie-cutter. Every film is built around the people in it, and the edit is where we earn our name.
Story first
Gear is the easy part. We start with what the film needs to make someone feel.
Invisible on the day
Small footprint, calm crew. People act natural when they forget we’re there.
Deliver what we promise
Clear timelines, real communication and no chasing us for files.
